Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

Seamus is always working to challenge himself and put in his best effort for his team. On the rugby field, his teammates voted him captain, and his coaches also look to him as a leader. In the Spring 2022 season, he and his team (Alexandria Rugby U12) placed third in the VA State Championship. In Track and Field, he has established himself as a strong presence in the throwing events, winning the 6th grade javelin throw at the Fall CYO meet, placing 3rd in the shot put, and holding the St. Rita School record in the Softball Throw. He also plays power forward for the St. Rita CYO basketball team. Beyond sports, Seamus excels at school and is an active member in his community. He has achieved First Honors the past two school years and was recently elected class representative for the Student Council. He is a Boy Scout in his local troop (129), engaging in service projects in his neighborhood. Seamus is also a musician, he is in his fourth year of playing the cello, and in his second year in the Kaboff Studio.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

Seamus is always looking to improve and set goals for himself.

Keep up the great work, Seamus!
