Child Seat Safety Inspections Available in Alexandria

The Alexandria  Sheriff’s Office is once again offering child seat safety inspections for city residents.

The free service is available by appointment, but the office occasionally will conduct safety seat checks at community events, according to the Sheriff’s Office website. Those community events will be posted on the city's calendar.

Those in need of services should call 703-746-4114 during regular business hours. A deputy trained in child safety seat inspection and installation will follow-up to schedule an appointment.

The office requests that residents bring a proof of residency to their appointment.
