Stocking Up on School Supplies? It's Tax Free in Virginia

Getting ready to send the kids back to school? The Virginia sales tax holiday begins this week, allowing consumer to purchase certain school supplies, clothing and footwear with no sales tax 

Each eligible school supply item must be priced at $20 or less and each eligible article of clothing and footwear must cost $100 or less.

In 2013, the event takes place Aug. 2. through Aug. 4.
