Suspect Arrested In Stabbing Of 29-Year-Old Man In Alexandria: Police
The Alexandria Police Department arrested a man in connection with a stabbing that occurred last Saturday evening on South Reynolds Street.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Alexandria Police Department arrested a man in connection with a stabbing that occurred last Saturday evening on South Reynolds Street.
Shortly before 6 p.m. on Feb. 4, police responded to what was reported as a shots-fired incident in the 300 block of South Reynolds Street.
When they arrived at the scene, police officers found a 29-year-old man with a stab wound to his midsection. The victim was taken to a local hospital, police said.

The victim, who survived the attack, is in stable condition, according to police.
A suspect, Akkeim Edwards, 45, of Alexandria was arrested without incident and charged with felonious assault, police said. Police said Edwards does not live in Alexandria.
