7 Displaced After 2-Alarm Fire Destroys Woodbridge Home

Crews arrived and found heavy flames coming from the home, which quickly spread to an attached garage.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Seven people were displaced when a fire tore through a Woodbridge home early Saturday morning.

Around 2:45 a.m., Prince William County Fire & Rescue crews responded to a home in the 19200 block of Luca Station Way for a report of a fire. Crews arrived and found heavy flames coming from the home, which quickly spread to an attached garage.

A second alarm was initially requested due to the size of the fire and a report of a person still in the home; however, all occupants were safely evacuated from the residence.

No injuries were reported, but officials said the home sustained significant damage and was deemed unsafe to occupy.

The Red Cross is assisting six displaced adults and one child.
