Dumfries' Kendall Marshall Goes to the Suns

The University of North Carolina sophomore was the 13th overall pick by the Phoenix Suns.

The Phoenix Suns selected Dumfries' own Kendall Marshall in the 2012 NBA draft on Thursday night.

According to SB Nation Arizona, Marshall was chosen by the Suns with the 13th overall pick.  

Marshall attended Bishop O'Connell and just completed his sophomore season at the University of North Carolina. He averaged 8.1 points and 9.8 assists per game for the Tar Heels this past season.

An article on Nola.com said that Marshall participated in a pre-draft workout with the New Orleans Hornets over the weekend; the Hornets had the first pick in the draft and used it to select Anthony Davis from Kentucky.
