Fall Back: Daylight Saving Time Ends Sunday Morning at 2 a.m.

Set your clock back!

Remember to move your clocks back an hour (“fall back”) before you go to bed tonight, as Daylight Saving Time will be ending at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3.

While changing your clocks, don't forget to change your smoke alarm batteries

Daylight Saving Time started in the United States during World War I as an effort to conserve energy. The time change better aligns sunrise and sunset with people’s normal waking hours. It was instituted again during World War II. Congress passed the Uniform Time Act, which standardized this, in 1966.
