A veteran and family-owned farmers market is introducing a new location in Woodbridge.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — The latest place to shop for locally-produced goods will be outside Woodbridge's hospital.
A new farmers market will open in June in the main parking lot of Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center (2300 Opitz Blvd., Woodbridge). Run by veteran and family-owned Long Family Markets, the farmers market will debut on June 5 and be open every Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. through September.
"At Long Family Markets, growth has always meant more than just adding tents or vendors," said Robin Long, owner of Long Family Markets. "It means deepening our connection with the community, strengthening local agriculture, and creating meaningful spaces where people, businesses, and ideas can thrive."
