
A Woodbridge homeowner frightened away an intruder by yelling at him as he tried to enter the home.
On May 24 at 12:33 p.m., Prince William County Police responded to the 2900 block of Stockholm Way, after a homeowner reported a burglary in progress.
The homeowner reported that she was in her basement when she heard her rear sliding glass door opening, police said. When the homeowner saw the unknown man partially enter the residence, she yelled towards him. The suspect immediately fled the home.

Police dispatched K-9 to search for the suspect. No one was injured and no property was missing.
The suspect is described as 15-25 years old, about 5’11”, 140 pounds, with a thin build and black hair. He was wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans and possibly carrying a backpack.
