Man Facing Child Pornography Charges In Wooodbridge: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man was arrested late last month for multiple child pornography offenses, Prince William County Police announced Tuesday, June 11. Derek Joseph Anderson, 33, of the 4200 block of Glendale Road in Woodbridge, was charged with nine counts of possession of child pornography (2nd or subsequent offense) and one count of possession of child pornography.

On April 18, a PWCP detective assigned to the Northern Virginia/DC Crimes against Children Task Force concluded an investigation of someone downloading suspected child porn by executing a search warrant at Anderson's home. Police found multiple images of suspected child pornography on an electronic device, and obtained arrest warrants for him.
