Glenn Martin, 63, of the 2000 block of Mayflower Drive in Woodbridge, was charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and obstruction of justice.Around 6 p.m., police went to the aforementioned area for a reported incident of vandalism. Upon arrival, they saw a man smoking marijuana in his back yard. When they attempted to detain him, Martin tried to flee into his home when a struggled ensued.
