Police: Woman Abducted, Assaulted at Woodbridge Home

Officer reported hearing the woman screaming for help when they arrived at the house, according to Prince William County Police.

Police have charged a man of no fixed address with abduction and assault and battery after a woman was reportedly assaulted and forced into a back bedroom in a Woodbridge house, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Marcus Aaron Johnson, 35, was arrested March 27. Police initially responded to the 1200 block of Bayside Avenue at 2:23 p.m. that same day for the report of an assault.

The victim told police that she and Johnson, an acquaintance, were in an argument, which became heated.

"During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and forced her into a back bedroom against her will," Perok said. "Officers arrived at the residence and could hear the victim screaming for help."

Police entered the house and took Johnson into custody. The victim had minor injuries. Johnson's court date is unavailable, and he is being held without bond.
