Police: No Abduction in Dumfries Incident
Police and helicopters had searched for suspected vehicle Wednesday, according to Prince William County Police.

Prince William County Police says earlier reports of an abduction in Dumfries involved a domestic encounter and no charges are pending in the investigation.
Area law enforcement spent much of Wednesday afternoon trying to track down a vehicle believed to have been involved in the abduction of a young woman seen forced into the backseat by a man.
After locating the parties involved, PWCPD said the investigation revealed that no abduction had taken place.

The incident occurred at 1:20 p.m. in front of the 4200 block Kenton Circle, where a witness saw what was believed to have been a man forcing a woman into the car.
Fairfax County Police assisted in the search with a helicopter.
