Forward Mobility CEO to Speak at Swedish-Edmonds Hospital
The Alderwood-Terrace will hosting Joel Smith at its Nov. 2 meeting.

Joel Smith, CEO of Forward Mobility will speak to members of Alderwood-Terrace Rotary, at their meeting at Swedish-Edmonds Hospital at 7:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 2.

Smith has spent the last several years designing and manufacturing innovative medical mobility solutions. He has now partnered with Kids First Enterprise, in Central Vietnam, to manufacture his products. At least 20 percent of the employees have a physical disability and part of their mission is to develop productive members of society in their rural setting. Â Â Â
Those interested in hearing Mr. Smith’s unique story are welcome to attend as guests. Breakfast is served between 7 and 7:30 a.m., and the meeting is concluded by 8:30 a.m.

Members of Alderwood-Terrace Rotary represent many businesses around the community. They sponsor the Sharing Tree during the holidays at AlderwoodMall and perform a variety of community based service projects, including support of Clothes For Kids, and Pathways for Women.
Alderwood Terrace Rotary Club is part of Rotary International, an association of 1.2 million business, professional and community leaders around the world. There are currently 33,000 clubs in 200 countries.Â
