SnoCo Sheriff Investigates Homicide In Lynnwood
A 52-year-old man was found dead in his home Monday, and evidence at the scene appears to indicate homicidal violence, officials said.
LYNNWOOD, WA — The death of a 52-year-old Lynnwood man has prompted a homicide investigation, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office. The victim's name and cause of death have not yet been released.
After failed attempts to contact the victim Monday, a concerned friend went to the victim's home in the 15300-block of Highway 99 around 1 p.m. and discovered the body, sheriff's officials said.
Evidence at the home reportedly indicate there was violence involved in the man's death, leading detectives to treat the situation as a homicide, officials said. The incident appears to be isolated, however, and investigators reportedly do not believe there is any general danger to the public.
