4 Injured After Overnight House Fire In Lakewood
The cause of the fire remains unknown.

LAKEWOOD, WA — Four people have been hurt after a late night fire in the Lakewood area.
West Pierce Fire & Rescue says its crews were called to a home in the 4800 block of Diamond Boulevard shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Upon arrival, firefighters found an adult man who had been severely burned trying to rescue a woman from inside the home. Firefighters quickly pulled the woman from the building. She, and two other women, were treated for smoke inhalation, but did not require hospitalization. The man, however, had to be taken to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.

Nearby roads were closed while crews snuffed out the fire and cleared the scene. They have since been reopened. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
