'80s Glow Party Father-Daughter Dance In Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, WA - Grab your fanny pack and teach your daughter how to vogue, it's not too late to register for the city's '80s Glow Party-themed Father-Daughter Dance March 1.

The event was previously set for Feb. 9 but required rescheduling due to weather.

A professional DJ will spin all your fave tracks from the 1980s while you're "Dancing in the Dark" and mowing down sandwiches from Jimmy John's in your acid-wash jeans from 6 to 8 p.m. March 1 at the McGavick Conference Center at Clover Park Technical College, 4500 Steilacoom Blvd. SW in Lakewood.

The event will even include a "glow" booth with props so you can take photos that you'll use to embarrass your daughter when she's older.

Preregistered tickets cost $25 for one father-daughter pair, $10 for each additional adult, and $5 for each additional child. Tickets at the door increase to $30 per pair and $10 for each additional child. The cost for each additional adult remains the same.

Parking is free.
