Artillery Training At JBLM This Week
Expect increased noise and activity from artillery and demolitions training at Joint Base Lewis-McChord this week.
JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, WA — Two artillery units at Joint Base Lewis-McChord will conduct day and night training this week, increasing noise and activity around the military facility, according to a Monday announcement from base officials.
The training will begin at 6 a.m. Monday, April 23, and continue through 11:59 p.m. Friday, April 26. The scheduled training will involve both artillery and demolitions, officials said.
