Babysitter Arrested For Possessing Child Pornography: Sheriff
Victoria DelCarmen was arrested this week for allegedly possessing child porn. Sheriff's investigators say she was also a local babysitter.

MIDLAND, WA — An 18-year-old woman from Pierce County who was arrested this week in connection to a child pornography case was further identified as a babysitter/nanny who apparently watched over an unknown number of local children, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.
Now detectives are asking the greater Pierce County community to speak up if they've had any contact with Victoria Annalise DelCarmen, especially if they've solicited her babysitting/nanny services.
County investigators arrested DelCarmen and took her to Pierce County jail on April 23. She is currently facing four counts of possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct — a class B felony in Washington punishable with up to 10 years incarceration and $20,000 in fines.

DelCarmen was identified as a suspect in this case after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children contacted Pierce County detectives and told them images depicting child pornography were shared to an IP address in an unincorporated area near Puyallup.
After pegging down an address along 110th Street Court East in the Midland area, detectives served a search warrant, conducted interviews, and ultimately took DelCarmen into custody.

Following DelCarmen's arrest, investigators learned she'd been advertising her services on care.com, which according to its website is "the world's largest online family care platform." Additionally, DelCarmen's phone showed several recent text message exchanges with local families, indicating she's been babysitting numerous, so-far unidentified kids.
Investigators also searched DelCarmen's room and found "multiple doll parts and a life-like baby doll, as well as large quantities of diapers, pacifiers, and baby clothes," sheriff's officials said in a Facebook post, adding, "The suspect does not have any children."
"Detectives also seized several electronic devices and discovered numerous communications about sexual acts … regarding infants and toddlers," officials said. "This evidence has our detectives concerned that there may be additional victims."
Anyone with information about this case or DelCarmen's babysitting business is encouraged to call the sheriff's department at 253-798-7530. Also, anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 800-222-TIPS, or via text to the P3 Tips app.
