Can You Help ID This Man?
Pierce County investigators say the currently unidentified man was caught on camera threatening a Spanaway Walmart employee with a knife.
SPANAWAY, WA - Do you recognize this man? According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, he threatened a Spanaway Walmart employee with a knife after he was asked to leave the store. Anyone who recognizes the man is encouraged to call Pierce County detectives.
The man was reportedly caught on camera just before 1:30 a.m. Jan. 17 causing a disturbance at the Walmart located at 20307 Mountain Highway E. in Spanaway. It's not entirely clear what the man was doing, but investigators said an employee at the store asked the man and two others accompanying him to leave because of their behavior.
As the employee walked the three men to the front entrance, the man in question pulled a knife and lunged at the employee, verbally threatening him, investigators said.

After threatening the employee, the man joined his two partners in a black extended cab pickup in the parking lot. The truck in which they fled reportedly has large white diagonal stripes across its sides.
The man accused of pulling the knife is described as white, possibly in his mid 20s, roughly 6-foot-2 and around 300 pounds.
