Spanaway Homicide Victim, Suspect Are Brothers, Sheriff Says
A homicide suspect reportedly surrendered to military police before he was arrested by Pierce County Sheriff's deputies Tuesday afternoon.
SPANAWAY, WA - A Tuesday afternoon argument between two brothers at a construction site in Spanaway reportedly ended when the younger brother shot his older brother, killing him. After the shooting, the younger brother reportedly drove to the gates of Joint Base Lewis-McChord and turned himself in to military police.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Office first reported the homicide investigation on Twitter just before 3:30 p.m. March 26. The shooting reportedly occurred in the 1800-block of Military Road South.
Neither the 52-year-old victim nor the 50-year-old suspect have been formally identified at this time.
