JBLM Announces Wednesday Demolition Training

Anyone who lives near the base should expect to hear a little extra noise during training.

LAKEWOOD, WA — Residents of Lakewood who live near Joint Base Lewis-McChord will want to prepare for some extra noise this week.

The base announced that soldiers will be conducting demolitions training all day Wednesday, Jan 19. According to the update, training will begin in the morning and could last through midnight.

Demolitions training is less common than some other training, the base says, and is held at JBLM's artillery impact area.
