Lakewood Homicide Suspect Arrested In Portland
Thomas Cooper, Jr., 31, was arrested Monday at a Portland-area 24-Hour Fitness facility. He faces misdemeanor gun charges in Oregon.

PORTLAND, OR - A homicide suspect wanted in Lakewood was arrested Monday on misdemeanor gun charges in Portland, Oregon, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office. At this time it's unclear whether Thomas Earl Cooper, Jr. will be extradited right away.
Cooper, 31, is being held at Multnomah County Jail on two local charges — unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a loaded firearm in public — and an out-of-state warrant.
Portland police on Feb. 18 reportedly found Cooper at a Portland-area 24-Hour Fitness, located at 4546 S.E. McLoughlin Blvd. Following Cooper's arrest, investigators found and seized as evidence a loaded handgun from Cooper's locker at the facility.
