Overpass Project Will Close I-5 Ramps, Hospital Gate Overnight
The overnight closure of I-5 ramps and the gate to Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord will occur overnight Fri. or Sat.

LAKEWOOD, WA - A construction project in Lakewood taking place this weekend will require the overnight closure of Interstate 5 ramps and the gate to Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord on either Friday or Saturday night.
A crew contracted by the city will reportedly perform work to replace the Berkeley Street overpass between 9:30 p.m. Feb. 15 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 16 or 9:30 p.m. Feb. 16 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 17, depending on weather, officials said.
If weather does not allow crews to perform the work this weekend, the project may be rescheduled for another date. As of Thursday, however, the plan is still a go.

While the work is underway and the Madigan Army Medical Center gate is closed, first responder ambulances, fire engines and police vehicles will be allowed to pass; all other JBLM personnel will need to find an alternate access point.
