Tacoma Man Dies 4 Weeks After Motorcycle Crash: WSP
Stephen Greer, 36, died this past weekend from injuries he sustained in a serious motorcycle crash in the Parkland area around March 19.
LAKEWOOD, WA — A 36-year-old motorcycle rider from Tacoma who was involved in a serious collision in the Parkland area around mid-March succumbed to his injuries this past weekend, according to Washington State Patrol.
Stephen Patrick Greer reportedly died Saturday from injuries he sustained when he crashed his 2005 Suzuki GSX-R600 into a 1997 Buick LeSabre at the intersection of Pacific Avenue/SR-7 and 107th Street south. The crash reportedly occurred just after 11 a.m. March 19.
According to WSP, Greer was traveling north along the shoulder of SR-7, passing stopped vehicles as he approached 107th Street South, when he T-boned the Buick and its 80-year-old driver as the Buick was pulling out of a parking lot onto SR-7.

The Buick driver was reportedly uninjured in the collision and was able to drive his vehicle from the scene.
Greer, however, was eventually taken to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, where he died more than four weeks after the crash.
