'Vacant Denny's Fire Was Arson,' West Pierce Fire Says
The fire at an empty Denny's in Lakewood broke out around 3 a.m. Wednesday. No injuries were reported.

LAKEWOOD, WA - A fire at an empty Denny's restaurant in Lakewood early Wednesday was caused by an arsonist, West Pierce Fire & Rescue tweeted. No injuries were reported.
West Pierce firefighters were dispatched to the burning Denny's at 6112 100th Street SW just after 3:30 a.m. Jan. 30. Arson was declared by the agency just after 11 a.m.
Lakewood police will reportedly take on the investigation. No suspects have been identified at this time.
