Woman Found Dead Inside Vehicle, Lakewood Police Investigating

Witnesses heard gunshots in the area shortly before the woman was discovered.

LAKEWOOD, WA — The Lakewood Police Department is investigating after a woman was found dead inside a car late Sunday night.

Just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Lakewood officers reported they had been called to reports of shots fired in the 6100 block of 112th St SW.

Shortly after officers arrived, they found the woman, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds, inside a vehicle, FOX13 reported.

Nearby roads were closed for several hours as police combed the nearby area. They have since been reopened, but no suspect has been arrested.
