Where Have You Heard Illegal Fireworks in Puyallup?
You may not be able to call 9-1-1 every time you hear illegal fireworks this Fourth of July, but you can help keep your neighbors informed here on Patch.

The Fourth of July is coming up quick. For many of us, it's the most dreaded time of the year.
You guessed it -- I have those kinds of neighbors. The kind who start celebrating around June 25th and don't stop until well after the Fourth. From loud booms that shake the house to poppers that sound like gunshots, it keeps me up late at night and scares my pets.
You may wantΒ to call police every time, but according to the State Fire Marshal, that's not a good idea. The majority of firework-related calls are not an emergency and tie up the 9-1-1 system, potentially delaying an emergency call from getting through.
According to the Fire Marshal,Β "reporting illegal activities or use of fireworks to 9-1-1 should be limited to those instances when the activity is in progress and poses a threat or danger to others or yourself."
When Should I Call 9-1-1?
Most fireworks inquiries can be answered by searching the internet for local restrictions or calling the local police or fire departmentβs non-emergency phone number.
