RENTON, WA — Renton drivers should be aware of a few construction projects that may lead to a few delays in the week ahead. City officials shared their weekly traffic impact report Monday, highlighting a few things to note through Friday.
168th Avenue Southeast
- Monday - Friday (8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
- Drivers should plan for intermittent lane closures in both directions at Southeast 120th Street for utility construction
South 3rd Street & South 2nd Street

- Wednesday - Friday (7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)
- Intermittent lane closures planned between Mills Avenue South and Rainier Avenue South for a utility improvement project.

Talbot Road South
- Thursday & Friday (Beginning at 8:30 a.m.)
- Intermittent single-lane closures in both directions near the 4550 block, due to scheduled road construction.
Interstate 405

- Soil excavation and hauling work scheduled for five nights this week near May Creek Bridge, along with barrier grout sealing at the State Route 167 interchange.
- This is part of the Renton to Bellevue widening project that will create an express toll lane system between the two cities, adding one lane in each direction. Overnight closures are expected in the weeks to come.
