Letter To The Editor: ARROW Staff Makes Renton Proud

You may remember that in 2010 the Renton History Museum worked with students from .  The Renton Historical Society also .

Now the Journalism Education Association (JEA) has awarded them the Diversity Award in a national competition that looks at schools' "commitment to cultural awareness and encouraging a multicultural approach with its student media staff, media production and/or community."

We are pleased to be working with RHS teacher and ARROW advisor Derek Smith and his Honors English students on another exhibit, Two by Two: Students Reinterpret Renton History, to open in February 2012.  Another reminder that we have so much to be proud of when it comes to Renton youth!
