Letter To The Editor: City Should Allow More Citizen Input

Stuart Avery is spot on. This clique that runs the city is like a Banana Republic. The mayor, police chief, city council sets their agenda, with little citizen input. Then the propaganda organ calling itself The Renton Reporter spiels forward with the approval and flowering editorials as how good it will be for us. Have you ever seen that paper disagree with anything the clique proposes? We, the citizens are in dire straits as the astute dictatorship rolls on. The library is a prime example of the clique shoving their program down our throats.
