Letter To The Editor: "Know The Steve I Know"

My former teacher and now employer, Steve Bergquist, is running for House of Representatives in the upcoming primary elections in August and I want the 11th district to know the Steve I know.  I have had the pleasure of knowing Steve in multiple respects and I've known him as my employer at Aces Tennis the longest. His employees appreciate him for his dedication to keeping our workplace enjoyable, successful and secure. His customers appreciate him for his generosity and there isn't a regular whose name Steve doesn't know. And I know his constituents will appreciate him for his determination, strength, and perseverance.

Steve works with the City of Renton to run all of the tennis programs, now going on five years. He is also the co-director of a nonprofit in the King County community to give back, and has raised over $100,000 to protect golf in the Renton School District. There's no doubt in my mind that Steve's commitment to his constituents will create a better community and I want my neighbors to know it. Come August 7th, I'll be proud to check the box next to the name "Steve Bergquist”.
