Letter To The Editor: McKenna Wrong To Challenge Affordable Health Care Act
Send letters to the editor to jenny.manning@patch.com. Please include your first and last name and city of residence.

No, Washington state's Governor and legislature are not challenging the Affordable Health Care Act in court - WA's Attorney General McKenna is, and he's wrong. As a mom who had one child in college beyond her bachelor's degree, students need the ability to be covered to age 26 in their parent's plan. As a young widow who got a letter cancelling our health insurance within a month after my husband died, I could have been unable to get new coverage. This is personal for me and for many other families - every American deserves access to affordable health care.
