Minions In Renton: 'Despicable Me' Screens At Petrovitsky Park July 30
Gru and his Minions will be front and center later this month as Big Backyard Movies comes to Renton's Petrovitsky Park.
RENTON, WA — Renton families will have the chance to catch a free outdoor movie later this month as King County Parks brings its "Big Backyard Movies" series to Petrovitsky Park. On July 30, neighbors are invited down to the park to catch "Despicable Me," the beloved animated film that introduced the world to the little yellow rascals known as Minions, and their supervillain boss, Gru, voiced by Steve Carrell.
Admission is free, and seating will open at 8 p.m. The movie will begin shortly after sunset, at 9:10 p.m.
