Lane Closures On Rainier Avenue South Wednesday For Sewer Repairs

RENTON, WA — Commuters should plan for possible delays along a block of Rainier Avenue South Wednesday morning due to some emergency repair work. Between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday, two of three northbound lanes will be blocked from South Tobin Street to Airport Way, near Tommy's Cafe, city officials said. The multi-hour closure will allow public works crews to complete emergency sewer repairs.

During the partial closure, all traffic will be diverted to the inside lane.
