Renton Municipal Arts Commission Has Grant Money For Renton Artists

Artists and their proposed work must be within Renton School District Boundaries.

Calling all Renton artists. 

The Renton Municipal Arts Commission has money for public art. The 2011 Arts Grant Program, which funds projects in line with the Commission’s goal to support Renton’s Arts & Culture Master Plan, is now accepting application from local artists for approximately $6,000 of available funding.

The grants apply to artists and organizations that promote art within the Renton School District boundaries.

Applications are due Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 for projects complete by Nov. 30. Grant awards will be announced by March 11.
