Renton's Moonlight Movie Schedule
Grab some friends, a blanket and a couple low back chairs and head out to the Renton Senior Center lawn for A Dolphin's Tale

The next four Fridays in Renton (July 27-August 17) mean Moonlight Movie Night. Admission is free and eating begins at 7 p.m. All movies start at dusk.
Bring a blanket, low back chairs and your favorite movie snacks. The forecast is looking good for the next few weeks, but in case of poor weather the Renton Community Center may change movie location or cancel showings. Call 425-430-6719 if you have any doubts; All sceduling decisions will be made by 5 p.m. on the day of the screening.

-  - Based on true events, this family film is about Winter, a young dolphin who lost her tail in a crab trap, and Sawyer, the introverted 11-year-old boy who befriends her. Sawyer meets the rescued dolphin at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, a marine rehabilitation center where she lives. Sawyer rallies friends and family alike to save Winter by convincing a pioneering doctor to create a unique prosthetic appendage to restore the dolphin’s ability to swim.Â
- - In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth - something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.Â
-  - On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary and Mary from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10-million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit the Frog reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways.Â
