Washington's First Topgolf Opens In Renton

RENTON, WA — Topgolf's first full-scale foray into Washington kicked off Friday with the opening of a new state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor venue in Renton. Construction crews broke ground on the three-story restaurant, bar, and event space last August on a large parcel of land just south of The Landing on Logan Avenue.

The Renton Topgolf will be the company's 78th facility across the globe and features 102 outdoor hitting bays, three indoor "Swing Suites," plus signature food and drink options, music, and entertainment for all age groups.

The sprawling campus also features a giant TV wall, updated ball dispenser units and is equipped with Topgolf's signature "Toptracer" balltracing technology. In a news release, the company said its Renton venue is also its first to incorporate a naturally skylit atrium with seating, yard games, terraces and patios.

Topgolf is still hiring staff for the facility and said it expects to employ 500 people. Readers can learn more about the new location online.
