Gonzaga University’s Zag Dining is bringing students and the community together for a series of festive dining events throughout February. The celebration kicked off with a special Valentine's Day dinner at The COG, where each station transformed into a culinary journey reflecting different phases of a relationship. From first impressions to long-term comfort, the themed menu offered dishes that encapsulated each romantic milestone.
The Valentine's Day menu featured:
- Simple Servings – Cornish Game Hen, Wild Rice, Grilled Asparagus, Brussels Sprouts and Kale Salad, and Butternut Squash Quinoa Cakes with Mornay
- 360 – Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp (traditional and spinach noodles), Caesar Salad, and Garlic Breadsticks (VG Alfredo Sauce available)
- Spike’s – Sliders on Ciabatta Rolls, Crinkle Fries
- Special Valentine’s Day Desserts
In addition to the Valentine’s dinner, Iggy’s Market hosted a successful Valentine’s Dessert Pick-up earlier in the week, where pre-ordered sweet treats were distributed. For those who missed the online order deadline, a limited selection of desserts remained available in-store for last-minute shoppers.
