The fire was knocked down within 15 minutes, however, overhaul operations continued for approximately one and a half hours due to the building's unique construction. Crews maintained a fire watch overnight to check for hot spots and preserve the scene for fire investigators to continue work this morning.

Firefighters quickly and safely mitigated the incident with no injuries or loss of life. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by SFD SIU (Special Investigations Unit).
