The Waffle Bar: A Customizable Favorite at the COG

One of the most exciting additions this semester is the Waffle Bar at the COG, serving freshly made waffles throughout the day. A variety of toppings allows for sweet or savory combinations, offering something for every preference. This new feature has quickly become a standout choice among students.

A Warm Welcome Back with Hot Cocoa

To kick off the semester, Zag Dining hosted a hot cocoa event to welcome students back from winter break. Over 75 attendees enjoyed a warm cup of cocoa with marshmallow toppings, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere as the new term began.

Engaging Students with Voluntary Meal Plan Promotions

Promotions for Voluntary Meal Plans (VMPs) included interactive campus tabling events where students spun a prize wheel for snacks, branded items, and raffle entries. Two grand prize winners will receive basketball tickets and a dinner for two at The Bulldog’s Tailgate Tipoff, adding an extra layer of excitement to the dining program.

These changes reflect the ongoing commitment to “For the Students, By the Students.” With direct input from student surveys and the continued guidance of the Student Culinary Council, Zag Dining remains dedicated to evolving and enhancing campus dining based on student needs and preferences.
