1 Killed In Possible Industrial Accident At Cudahy Car Dealer: Police

Police said a person was found dead Wednesday afternoon at a Cudahy car dealership after what's believed to be an accident.

CUDAHY, WI —A person who died at a Cudahy car dealership Wednesday afternoon is believed to have been the victim of an industrial accident, according to police.

Authorities were called out to Ewald's Venus Ford in the 2700 block of Layton Avenue around 3:30 p.m. for an injured person, according to a news release from Cudahy police. The person who was injured was found dead at the scene, police said.

Police said the victim was doing electrical work before being found unresponsive, a report by TMJ4 News said.

Police did not immediately identify the victim.

Investigators from the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office were called out alongside the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner, police said.
