12-Year-Old Milwaukee Boy Arrested After Hit And Run: Police
Police arrested a 12-year-old boy after he crashed a stolen car and boarded a Milwaukee County Transit System bus.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Milwaukee police arrested a 12-year-old boy on Monday after he crashed a stolen car and tried to flee by taking a county bus, police said.
The 12-year-old boy was driving a stolen car when he got in a hit-and-run crash with another car near N. 26th Street and W. Lisbon Avenue around 1 p.m., the Milwaukee Police Department said.
He got out of the car and got onto a Milwaukee County Transit System bus before officers got on board and arrested him, police added.

An 18-year-old man and a 12-year-old boy were inside of the car that was hit, police said. Nobody was injured in the crash.
Criminal charges would be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office, police said.
