2-4 Inches Of Snow Could Hit SE Wisconsin Friday Into Saturday: NWS

Forecasters said a round of accumulating spring snow could hit southeastern Wisconsin Friday night, though uncertainty remains.

WISCONSIN — Plenty of Wisconsinites are eager for warmer temperatures and fuller foliage, but we're not out of the woods yet with snow.

Even though Monday was the first day of spring, we could be getting hit with more accumulating snowfall by Friday night, according to a tweet by the National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan. Chances exist for between 2-4 inches of snowfall in parts of southeastern Wisconsin, although uncertainty remains, the NWS said.

The main snowfall could come Friday night and last into Saturday. Much of Waukesha County is looking at a 77 percent chance of 2 inches of snow and a 59 percent chance of 4 inches of snow or more, the NWS said. Meanwhile, Milwaukee is looking at a 68 percent chance of 2 inches of snow and a 46 percent chance of 4 inches of snow.
