2 Dead After Car Crashes Into Empty Milwaukee Home In Pursuit: Police
Police said they are looking for the driver of a car that crashed into an empty Milwaukee building early Wednesday morning, killing two.
MILWAUKEE, WI — Two women were killed early Wednesday after their car sped off from a traffic stop and crashed into an empty building in Milwaukee, according to police.
Both people inside the car, a 20-year-old woman from Milwaukee and a 28-year-old woman from Greendale, suffered fatal injuries and died at the crash scene despite lifesaving efforts by the Milwaukee Fire Department, police said.
Police said they are still seeking the driver of the car, and that no other injuries were reported.

Police spotted the car speeding near Greenfield Avenue and 19th Street just before 1 a.m., and when it ran a red light near Cesar E Chavez Drive, officers tried to stop it for reckless driving, according to a news release.
The car sped off when officers tried to stop it, police said. The driver then lost control and crashed into a vacant building in the 2300 block of West Hopkins Street, according to police.
