2020 DNC Day 1 Schedule: Bernie Sanders, Michelle Obama Headline

MILWAUKEE, WI — The 2020 Democratic National Convention kicks off Monday with speeches by former First Lady Michelle Obama and Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Governors Andrew Cuomo and Gretchen Whitmer will join Senators Catherine Cortez Masto, Doug Jones and Amy Klobuchar in delivering remarks on opening night as well.

There are several ways to follow the 2020 DNC live, including via mobile device, computer, television, streaming video and smart speaker.

Monday's Pre-Show

Hip-hop podcast Behind The Rhyme will host a pre-show event called Your Voice Your Vote, a live special featuring coverage and a simulcast of the Democratic National Convention, starting at 7 p.m. CDT. The show will be streamed live on Twitch and will roll into the 2020 DNC simulcast.

A post-show panel will be followed by a DJ set with DJ Beverly Bond on Monday.

Featured Artists

The 2020 DNC will also feature musical acts such as John Legend, The Chicks, Common and Billy Porter among others. Convention officials have yet to say which day each performer will be featured. Here is the full list of performers for the convention.
