5 Injured, 1 Fatally, In Separate Milwaukee South Side Shootings: Cops
Milwaukee police said there was a double shooting Monday evening on the city's south side just hours before a separate triple shooting.
MILWAUKEE, WI — A double shooting on Milwaukee's south side near 36th Street and National Avenue left one man dead just hours before a triple shooting injured three, according to police.
The first shooting happened around 4:30 p.m., police said. A 31-year-old from Milwaukee was killed at the scene by gunshots, while a 26-year-old woman from Milwaukee was injured and treated for gunshot wounds at a hospital before being taken into custody, police said. Police said they are still looking for an unknown suspect or suspects.
The triple shooting happened around 6:25 p.m. near 32nd Street and West Forest Home Avenue, according to police. A 57-year-old man, 56-year-old man and 16-year-old boy, all from Milwaukee, were injured in the shooting and brought to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

Police said they are still looking into what led up to the triple shooting and still seeking an unknown suspect or suspects.
