6 Inches Of Snow Possible For Parts Of SE Wisconsin: Weather Forecast
Rain is expected to change to snow Saturday night, with lake-effect bands boosting totals near Racine and Kenosha.

MILWAUKEE, WI — The National Weather Service still says southeastern Wisconsin could see its first light snow of the season Saturday night, with minor accumulations expected as colder air moves in behind a passing low-pressure system.
Rain will arrive late Saturday morning or early afternoon, spreading from west to east. As temperatures drop below freezing after sunset, precipitation will transition to snow, with slushy accumulations of less than 1 inch possible on grassy or elevated surfaces. Roads could become slick in spots overnight, forecasters said.

The changeover to all snow is likely after 10 p.m., with flakes tapering off by early Sunday. A few lingering light snow showers (20–30 percent chance) may continue into Sunday morning, though additional accumulation isn’t expected.

The NWS said this will be the coldest air mass of the season so far, lasting into early next week.
