Watch: Biden Visits Milwaukee Before City Hosts First GOP Debate
The presidential election cycle is heating up in Wisconsin with visits expected from all the top competitors before the end of August.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Shortly before the first Republican presidential primary debate kicks off in Milwaukee, Democrat President Joe Biden will visit the city on Tuesday to discuss his "Bidenomics" economic policy, according to his official schedule.

A report by The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel noted that Ingeteam, which works in clean energy and converting electric power, is a common campaign stop among Democrats.

Biden's visit comes just one day before the anniversary of signing the Inflation Reduction Act, a landmark measure that sought to deliver tax credits for clean energy, plus prescription and health insurance savings.
Jamie Harrison, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, told CBS58 that "it's going to be a wild ride" in Wisconsin as the presidential election cycle looms. Harrison said the state is one that's "in the middle of the political universe right now."
