Carjacking In Milwaukee On Capitol Drive; 2 Suspects Sought: Police

Milwaukee police said an older adult was inside a vehicle when it was carjacked in late June. The car crashed soon after, police added.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Police in Milwaukee are asking the public for help to identify two suspects after a carjacking and robbery on June 29 in the 5700 block of West Capitol Drive.

The two suspects took a vehicle that had an elderly passenger and crashed the vehicle then ran off, police said. It happened around 2 p.m. that day, according to a news release.

Police described the first suspect as an 18-20-year-old man around 5-foot-7 tall with a medium build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white square design, blue jeans and black shoes. The other suspect was also 18-2o, around 5-foot-10 with a medium build wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.
